The Department of 家庭医学 provides care for people of all ages, from birth to seniors. We offer comprehensive, coordinated care to individuals 和 their families with an emphasis on the whole person 和 the role of family in health 和 illness.

家庭医学 care includes:

• Preventive medicine such as physical exams, immunizations, 和 routine screenings
• Treatment of short-term injuries or illnesses
• Treatment of chronic illnesses like diabetes
• Care for women during pregnancy 和 childbirth
• Nutritional counseling, physical therapy, 和 other special programs

As a 家庭医学 patient, you will select one of our providers to be your family doctor (primary care provider, 或卡式肺囊虫肺炎). Your PCP will coordinate your care, arrange for consultations with other qualified professionals if necessary, 和 welcome your participation in their plans of care. When he or she is not immediately available, you will be cared for by another member of your 家庭医学 care team.
